Wooden map art of Hobart, Tasmania. Capturing the details of the city, Bruny Island, and the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.

kunanyi / Mount Wellington rises behind the city and the Derwent opens out past Sandy Bay towards the channel. The terrain is carved in layers, so the mountain and the coastline stand up off the board.

Each map is laser cut from layers of basswood, finished by hand and set in an oak frame (natural, brown or black) with a wire on the back, so it arrives ready to hang.
