What’s the difference between a custom 50% deposit and a catalog map?
Catalog maps are designs we have already made. The files are ready for the laser. You pay in full at checkout. They are made to order in 4 business days.
Custom maps are of a farm, property or any location in the world. The 50% deposit starts drafting. We then refine the design with your feedback.
Once you approve the design the remaining 50% is due and we start cutting.
Customs take 2 weeks for drafting, and 1 week for fabrication.

If you or the recipient are not satisfied with the map, return it within 30 days and a full refund will be issued. We do not cover return shipping costs.
In the unlikely event that your map is damaged in transit send a picture and we will ship a full replacement.
Materials & Hanging
Our topographic wooden maps are crafted from Double-A 1.5mm Basswood.
Frames are made from oak.
A wire is secured across the back so it's ready to hang. Light enough for ordinary picture hooks. Built to stay on the wall for decades.

Where do you ship from?
Our maps are handmade in our workshop in Thailand. We ship with DHL Express Worldwide. This is included with all small, medium and large map orders.
USA and AU - 2 to 4 business days
NZ, CA, EU & Other - 3 to 5 business days
Will I have to pay tariffs?
We cover all import duties and tariffs. No surprise fees. Once your order is shipped you will receive DHL shipping notifications.
Do I need maps, or property boundaries for a custom?
No. An address is enough. If you have anything on hand - location screenshot, a boundary PDF, or a family sketch, send it - we will use it. If you don’t, no problem. We can pull property boundaries, topographic and street data for the US, AU, NZ, CA & EU. Will confirm them with you during drafting.
What if the land is flat? Will it look like a blank board?
That is the question we get most. We tighten the contour interval so gentle country still reads in 3D, and where the land needs more than that we add methods like an engraved hill shade and vegetation hatching. You will see which combination fits the location best on the digital draft. We do not start cutting until you approve it.
