Wooden map art of New Zealand, Aotearoa, from Auckland and the North Island volcanoes to Christchurch and the peaks around Queenstown.
The Southern Alps are carved in layers, so they stand high above the rest of the country.
Each map is laser cut from layers of basswood, finished by hand and set in an oak frame (natural, brown or black) with a wire on the back, so it arrives ready to hang.

Natural - no staining, a blonde / sandy tone
Brown - a light brown stain
Black - a rich black stain
All frames are finished with lacquer, this adds durability and highlights the grain.
